Overview
In Gilgit-Baltistan, blossom season arrives in spring, usually from mid-March to early May depending on altitude and weather. During this time the whole region blooms with cherry blossoms, apricot blossoms and flowering trees, one of the most beautiful sights in the world, set against the backdrop of the majestic mountains. This 12-day journey follows the blossoms from Taxila and Swat up the Karakoram Highway to Hunza and Skardu, covering the region's forts, lakes, valleys and deserts at the perfect time of year.

Tour Plan
Arrival in Islamabad and transfer to hotel.
Taxila Museum, archaeological sites and Takht-i-Bahi ancient Buddhist monastery. Overnight in Swat Valley.
Drive to Chilas via Shangla Pass and the Karakoram Highway.
Visit to the junction of three greatest mountain ranges and Rakaposhi viewpoint.
Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, UNESCO-awarded Ganish historical site and Duiker valley viewpoint.
Attabad Lake, Hussaini suspension bridge, Passu cones and Khunjerab pass visit.
Drive to Skardu Valley with Kargah Buddha visit, sightseeing and photography on the way.
Exploring Khaplu valley, its fort and historical sites.
Shigar Valley, Skardu local and Sarfranga cold desert.
Fly back to Islamabad, or by road in case of flight cancellation. Islamabad local visit.
Islamabad local markets, Faisal Mosque, Margalla Hills and Pakistan Monument.
Departure back home.
