K2 Basecamp Trek
Overview
K2 , also known as Mount Godwin-Austen or Chhogori, is the second highest mountain in the world, standing at an awe-inspiring height of 8,611 meters (28,251 feet) above sea level. It is located in the Karakoram Range of the Himalayas, straddling the border between Pakistan and China’s Xinjiang region. The K2 Base Camp is the starting point for climbers embarking on expeditions to summit K2, the second highest mountain in the world. Situated in the Karakoram Range, the K2 Base Camp is a remote and rugged location surrounded by towering peaks, glaciers, and icefalls.

Tour Plan
Group arrival to Islamabad – Check IN hotel
Fly to Skardu/Drive to Chilas in case of flight cancellation
Contigency in case of by road travelling/Skardu local tour
Drive to ASKOLI (the last village before trek) – Overnight at Askoli (7-8 hours)
Askoli To Jhoula Camp (6/7 hours)
Jhoula to Paiju Camp ( 5-6 hours)
Rest at Paiju camp to acclimatize
Paiju to Khoburche ( 6-7 hours)
Khoburche to Urdukus (3-4 hours)
Hike to Goro II (6-7 hours)
Trek to Concordia from Goro II (5-6 hours)
Early Trek from Concordia to Broad peak basement/K2 basement. Return to Concordia for overnight *
Trek back from Concordia to Goro II
Goro II to Khoburche via Urdukus
Hike To Paiju
Paiju to Jhoula
Joula to Askoli
Drive back to Skardu from Askoli
